Dr. Deborah Chyun is Professor and Dean at the University of Connecticut School of Nursing. She recently retired from NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing where she served as Executive Associate Dean and as the former Director of the Florence S. Downs PhD Program in Nursing Research and Theory Development. Her research interests include the prevention and management of cardiovascular disease in adults with type 2 diabetes. Her background is in chronic disease epidemiology and intervention studies.
