Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, UZ Gent, Belgium Professor Jan Philippé, MD, specialises in laboratory medicine at the Ghent University and the free University of Brussels, supervising the laboratory of hematology. He has been teaching at Ghent University, and Rwanda National University. His research interests include exploration of the leukemic stem cell and its role in acute myeloid leukemia and multi drug resistance.
